Description: The Agency is implementing a new cloud based billing system - Oracle CCS. The system has additional configurations outside of base functionality and code. Additionally, the system interfaces and is integrated with other 3rd party applications. The City is responsible for all regression testing and release management activities associated with the non-base functionality of the application as well as the integrated/interfaced 3rd party applications. The Agency is seeking a resource with experience with regression testing, specifically using the OUTA tool, with Oracles CCS system knowledge. The resource with lead regression testing activities to include, but not limited to, creation and execution of test scripts for regression testing. Resource will be paired with a business SME to assist in the business process scenarios for testing development and execution.
Resource will also act in a mentor role for Agency resources who will be assigned to and shadow during testing preparation and execution to learn how OUTA functions to gain skills and competency in the tools use. The intent is to have City internal resources learn hands-on with the tool to be come comfortable and competent to take over the roles and responsibilities of regression testing at a late date. It is not yet known the date that transition will occur as it is dependent upon the time that can be allocated to shadowing external resource as well as time frame required to learn the tool in a manner sufficient to assume ownership of its use.
